The Family Under The Bridge

It is a short amazing story about a hobo and three kids. The hobo Finds a poor family on the street and helps them. He takes them to a circus, at the end, he got a job as a caretaker and they could have a house by towing it. My favorite part is when they go to a camp. The camps people offer them many places to live. One offered to sleep in a tent, another offered to go into their van/house, and one said that their house was near a bakery so it was always warm. They went to the van/house. The girl was a Gispy and she could read very mysterious signs. But, she had no idea how to read or write. The girl was utterly shocked that she did not know. So then she set up a tiny school right there. You should always learn from this book that is always good to be generous.

Dracula
by Bram Stoker

Overall, I loved reading this book. The plot came together nicely and the characters were both compelling, and interesting to learn about. Dracula wasn't quite "horror" in the way that I was used to, instead of jump scares and gore, it used descriptions and a sense of suspense to build the reader's anxiety. The entire time that I was reading, I felt like the characters were real, which not many horror books can do. It didn't use cliches at all, the plot twists were well thought out and all made sense with what information the book had supplied previously. My only note is that there were a lot of casual sexist remarks made toward the middle, which was off-putting for me, even though I know that this book was made during a time when that was considered okay. It took me a lot of time to get through, but Dracula was definitely worth the read.

The Wild Robot

This is a amazing book.About a robot who finds herself on a island. Interacts with the creatures, and learns how to survive. The first step is to learn the animal language, that was not hard. It raised a duckling and named it bright bill. This duckling meant a lot of good things to her. This robots name was Roz. She took care of the little duck. The duck went to migration. It became the leader when it got back. My favorite part was at the end, when they had a massive battle. Robots wanted Roz to go with them. Roz got taken away to save the forest.

Jane Eyre For Kids

This book about Jane Eyre is a lovely book that any one should read. In this realistic fiction story, Jane’s mother and father were dead. Then, she was raised by her uncle reed. You could feel the sorrows of Jane’s parents dying. After her uncle died, she was raised by her selfish aunt, and her 3 horrible children. When she moved out of their house, she went to a school that raised money for orphans like her. She made a very important friend named Helen. She told Jane to love your enemies. Helen sadly died from a very serious illness. Jane cried and cried and cried. Then, she spent six years as a pupil, then, she became a teacher for two years. Then, she became a governess for a child whose name was Adele. The owner, Edward Rostcher, has been Adele’s mother’s friend. When she sadly died, Adele went to Edward’s house. Edward Rostcher was a very rich man. One night, Edward Rostcher had a ball. I liked this story because Jane has a passionate heart, a courageous personality, and a quiet voice. My favorite part is when Jane gets married to Edward Rostcher.
